About Manipal University Jaipur

The Manipal Education Group, with its heritage of excellence in higher education for over 70 years, launched Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) in the year 2011. MUJ was established on an invitation from the Government of Rajasthan, as a self-financed State University and is redefining academic excellence in the region. The vision of the University is to be a “Global Leader in Higher Education and Human Development”.

MUJ has a total land area of 122 acres, with the constructed area of 2.73 million sq ft. The University boasts of the best-in-class infrastructure, including the state-of-the-art research facilities and a modern digital library. MUJ, as multi-disciplinary University, offers career- oriented courses at all levels, i.e., UG, PG and Doctoral, across diverse streams, including Engineering, Architecture, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Hospitality, Humanities, Journalism & Mass Communication, Basic Sciences, Law, Business & Commerce, Management, Computer Applications, Hotel Management and Social Sciences.

MUJ is committed to nurturing talent and strengthening academics & research by adopting unique & innovative practices to continue to redefine academic excellence. The University provides a unique environment for the holistic growth of students, under the able guidance of experienced, qualified, and dedicated faculty members. Students acquire creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, and technological skills, which are required to make
them profession and industry ready. The curriculum is broad-based, and students are allowed to register for many programme electives, and open electives from diverse streams. Experts from industry are invited on the regular basis to address the students and give them the important industry perspective in a course.

Currently more than 12000 students from diverse backgrounds across India and abroad are enrolled in all programs. The team of more than 580 faculty members having excellent academic profiles most them having Ph.D and with National and/or International awards, are the asset of the University. The University has Faculty Development Programme in place through which faculty members tone up their teaching skills and impart best knowledge to the students.

MUJ has signed more than 120 MOUs with reputed National and International Academic Institutions & Industries to provide its students wide exposure and job opportunities at global level. The University has set up an Entrepreneurship Cell and provides generous support for start-ups.

Atal Incubation Centre-Manipal University Jaipur (AIC-MUJ) is an initiative of MUJ & Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, AIC- MUJ is established to cater & nurture innovation and thrives to provide support an ecosystem for better growth of the start-ups.

With the objective of encouraging meritorious students and academic excellence, various types of scholarships are being awarded. Every year scholarships more than Rupees Six Crores are being awarded under various categories. To support state and local region students from nearby villages, Rajasthan Merit Scholarship and Local Region Scholarship are also offered every year.

MUJ provides online academic information and support to students through Digital Management System (DMS). The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with adequate number of CCTV surveillance camera installed at various places for security and monitoring purpose. MUJ boasts of a Solar Power Plant of 1550 KWH installed on the rooftops of the
buildings and parking area in the Campus. The University has fully equipped digital library, adequately stocked with requisite number of reference and textbooks, national and international journals, eBooks and e-Journals, along with the online access to various eBooks/Courses from various learning platforms.
