




















NID Studio Test 2025 workshop will be conducted at Pahal Design all centres across India, or you can join the classes Online and offline both. Online classes will be conducted from Delhi head office for across India. For Online classes you need to register first and you will get all access of study material of our LMS Portal.
The DAT Mains for M.Des. programme consists of two parts:
• Studio Test: This may consist of tests in different formats. The DAT Mains will be conducted in English ONLY.
• Interviews: The interviews will be conducted separately for each discipline, immediately after the Studio Test, and at the, same centre as the Studio Test.
The final marks of the candidate appearing for the M.Des. programme of the Institute of Design, will be calculated based on the weightages of the marks obtai DAT Prelims and DAT Mains, as under:
DAT Prelims – 30% DAT Mains – 70% (Studio Test – 40% & Interviews – 30%)
Note: Only those candidates who have appeared for all the tests in both the stage considered eligible for the Merit List
NID Studio Test can also include a random test which may evaluate candidates on their material handling abilities.

2) You have to carve a momento out of a 10X10 cm cube of polyurethane material. The carving must depict the theme “50 years of NID”. It must include NID logo in proportion. 3) Make any one of the following in the proportion you want:
Materials provided: Plastic sheet, nails, pins, fevistick 4) Make a wrist-watch out of the following: Paper sheets (coloured), transparent plastic sheets, aluminium sheet, wire. The latching arrangements must work and all the features must be shown: Dial, Minute and Hour Hand, Time setting knob. |

Q-1 Choose 3 options from the list of old media to new media and depict transition through visual narration transition.

Q-1 Write a dialogue b/w you and your fren formulating your argument on Three Farm laws.
