UPES Eligibility for Non exam pathway for Design is as follows

UCEED- AIR rank upto 2499
CEED- AIR rank upto 633
NIFT & NID – 50% and above

UPESDAT- University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) would be conducting UPESDAT 2020 in online mode from May 12-14, 2020.

The Design Aptitude Test offers admission to courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Please find below all the details related to UPESDAT – B. Des & M.Des.

Test Dates – 12 -14 May
Mode – Online
Last date to apply – 9 May
Last date to book Slot – 10 May
Test window timings – 9.30 am to 12. 30 pm(student can login anytime between this)
Test duration –
90 Minutes (Exam – 60 min and Interview – 30 minutes) for exam category
30 minutes for non exam category (Interview only)

Process –

Student will book the Exam & Interview date from https://bit.ly/bdesexm
Exam pathway student will get Exam & Interview booking date
Non exam pathway will get Interview date booking
Student will get demo link on 8th or 9th May
FInal test Link will be shared on 10th and 11th May

The application form for UPESDAT 2020 has been released and students can apply for the same till May 9, 2020.  

The UPESDAT 2020 application fee is Rs. 1350. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the Design Aptitude Test. The duration of the test for B.Des is 1 hour.  Qualified candidates in the entrance test will have to face interview that will be held on skype followed by portfolio round. 

there are high probabilties that The UPESDAT for B.Des will be conducted online and the type of questions asked will be objective type multiple choice questions.

The exam is held for one hour.

Students must go through the exam pattern to know the marking scheme and get familiar with the subject and topic wise weightage, how many questions will be asked and section of questions.

Test takes will also come to know about the medium of the exam.
