Several elements impact the determination of NIFT cutoffs each year:
•Seat Intake: The total number of seats available for a particular program at a campus.
•Number of Applicants: Higher competition can lead to higher cutoffs.
•Program Popularity: More sought-after courses may have stricter cutoffs.
•Difficulty Level of Entrance Exam: Challenging exams might result in lower scores, affecting rank distributions.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NIFT website for the most accurate and updated cutoff information. The cutoffs are typically released after the declaration of results and are available in the form of opening and closing ranks for each program and campus.
Aspiring NIFT candidates should aim for high scores to secure favorable ranks, increasing their chances of admission into desired programs and campuses. Staying informed about previous years’ trends and understanding the factors influencing cutoffs can provide valuable insights during preparation.
