Exact questions don’t repeat, but the question pattern, difficulty level, and topic areas remain similar. Previous papers help you understand the nature of the exam and expected question types, which is extremely helpful during the actual exam.

B.Des papers focus on creative aptitude, observation skills, and basic design thinking. M.Des papers test advanced design concepts, portfolio work, and specialized domain knowledge. There’s also a significant difference in difficulty levels between the two.

The Studio Test involves hands-on creative work. Practice sketching daily, experiment with different materials, and develop your observation skills. Review previous Studio Test papers to understand the types of tasks given. Time management is crucial as you need to complete a full project within limited time.

Solve at least the last 5 years of papers thoroughly. If you have more time, you can practice up to 10 years of papers. What’s important is that you take each paper seriously and perform detailed analysis. Quality of practice matters more than quantity.
