NIFT Result

NIFT Entrance Exam Results 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the written entrance exam results in March or April 2026. This marks the first qualifying step for admission into NIFT’s B.Des, M.Des, MFM, and M.F.Tech programs.

 Selection Criteria & Next Steps

The weightage and selection process vary by program:

  • B.Des (Bachelor of Design): Candidates are shortlisted based on their GAT (General Ability Test) and CAT (Creative Ability Test) scores. Shortlisted candidates must then appear for the Situation Test.

  • B.F.Tech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology): Selection is based solely on the GAT score.

  • Postgraduate Programs (M.Des, MFM, M.F.Tech): Shortlisted candidates must attend a Personal Interview in New Delhi.

Note: Failure to attend the interview will disqualify the candidate from final selection.

 Final Results

The final merit list—combining written exam scores with the Situation Test or Personal Interview—will be declared in May 2026.
