JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Admit Card Released – Important Update

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (April attempt) for selected exam dates.

Exam Dates & Admit Card Details

• Exam Dates: 02 & 04 April 2026
• Admit Card Release Date: 29 March 2026
  
Candidates appearing on these dates can now download their admit cards from the official JEE Main website.

For exams scheduled on 05, 06, 07, and 08 April 2026, admit cards will be released soon.

Exam Shift Timings

• Morning Shift: 09:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Afternoon Shift: 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM 
 
( Note: Some shifts may extend till 06:30 PM depending on the paper.)

How to Download Your Admit Card ?

Students appearing on 02 & 04 April should: 
 
1. Visit the official JEE Main website
 
2. Log in using your application credentials
 
3. Download and print your admit card

Important Instructions for Students

• Ensure that your QR code and barcode are clearly visible on the admit card
• Carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof
• Follow all instructions mentioned on the admit card and question paper
• Reach the exam center well before reporting time

I am appearing for the exam on April 6th, but I cannot download my admit card yet. Why?

Currently, the NTA has only released admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear on April 2nd and 4th, 2026. Admit cards for subsequent dates (April 5, 6, 7, and 8) will be released shortly in a phased manner. Keep checking the official website for updates.

What are the specific shift timings for the April attempt?

The exam is conducted in two primary shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

  • Afternoon Shift: 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM (Note: Some papers may extend until 06:30 PM).

    Refer to your specific admit card for your allotted shift and mandatory reporting time.

What documents must I carry to the exam center?

You are required to bring a clear, printed copy of your Admit Card and a valid photo ID proof (such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport). Ensure the QR code and barcode on your admit card are printed clearly, as they are essential for verification.

What should I do if there is an error on my admit card or if I cannot download it?

If you encounter technical issues or notice discrepancies in your personal details, you should immediately contact the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or send an email to jeemain@nta.ac.in for assistance.

How can I confirm my exam city before the admit card is released?

The NTA has already shared the Exam City Slip and date details with all candidates. You can log in to the official JEE Main portal using your application credentials to view your assigned city and prepare your travel arrangements in advance.
