Important Instructions before you take the Pearl exam on Virtual Examination Centre
You can take the test On Laptop/Desktop or Mobile. Attempt this exam only from Google Chrome browser whether it is Windows or Linux. If taking from iPhone (iOS)/Mac use Safari browser.
Ensure that your Laptop/Desktop should have a working webcam and mic. Allow access to microphone and webcam when prompted.
If the exam is not able to access your camera and mic it will keep showing you preparing questions
If the exam doesn’t work for you, you should try it on a different laptop or mobile
Ensure you have at least 200 MB of data available before you start the exam
You should have at least 2 mbps internet speed to take the exam
4G usually gives around 14 mbps speed and Wi-Fi ranges from 2 mbps to 200 mbps depending on your plan.
Make sure there is no background noise from people talking, TV or music etc.
Delete your browser history and cache before you start the exam
Else you can give the exam in Incognito mode
In the end if the video upload shows ‘Uploading’ for more than 10 mins just REFRESH
Just like a normal exam, make sure you have eaten well and would not need to use the washrooms during the exam.
Password to be entered is your DOB, should be in DDMMYYY format (eg: if DOB is 10 Jan 1998 password will be 10011998).
Interview link will be active only on scheduled date from 9:30am till 12:30 pm. None of a student can access the test before or beyond these time guidelines.
Size of the photos to be uploaded after interview should be less than 5MB. Only jpg, pdf, png format accepted.
What is NOT allowed during the exam
This exam is smartly protected by anti cheating mechanism Lock and Track, which tracks any violations you make.
Minimizing the browser or exiting fullscreen mode is a violation.
Any attempt to copy paste is a violation.
Any attempt to google out answers or deviate from the current browser tab is a violation.
Use of keys like Ctrl, Cmd, Esc, Alt is a violation.
This exam also records candidate’s video and clicks random images, to eliminate impersonation or malpractice.
The AI detects additional faces, sounds, eye movement etc. and raises violation messages.
Having multiple faces in the camera is a violation.
Somebody whispering answers or unwanted audio is a violation.
Staying away from the camera or your face not visible in camera is a violation.
All these violations are recorded and will show in your exam report. After reaching the maximum number of violations allowed, you will be automatically logged out and barred from the exam.
