Free Situation Test workshop For Patna & Ranchi (2 Days) 12, 13 & 14th, 15th & 16th April

NIFT SITUATION TEST CLASS By

PATNA TIMING : 10AM-1PM & 2PM-5PM, 15th APRIL

RANCHI TIMING : 10:30AM-1:30PM, 16th APRIL

Bring the waste what you have and design the best from that.

The total duration of Free NIFT Situation Test workshop will be 3 hours per day for a group.
1^st Day 30 mins for tips and hand-outs +2.5  hours of material exploration.

2^nd Day  2 hours of model making and 1 hours of comparative feedback and suggestions

In the NIFT Situation Test, the students are given various materials and a 3D modeling problem. The students are expected to create a 3D model using the materials provided. The students are also required to explain their design concept and 3D model in about 100 words (10 lines). The time provided is 2.5 hours. The students are judged on Aesthetic appeal, Smart use of materials, Relevance to the given problem and Explanation write-up.

Based upon the format the workshop is designed with an aim where the student realizes various uses / transformation of the provided materials, in different forms and different tastes which should be creatively stimulating and practical in approach. Students will be motivated to explore with the materials in different and functional forms.

The workshop will be about invention, design research and analysis.

List of material student needs to bring:-

1. Cardboards                             (Qty.5 in A-4 size)
2. Rubber bands                          (30-40)
3. Ribbon Pieces                          (4 colors ,2 mtrs each)
4. Broom sticks                           (30-35)
5. Foil paper                                (1 mtr)
6. Thin wire                                 (3 mtr)
7. Plastic (drinking) straws           (30-35)
8. Color papers                            (10)
9. Plastic spoons                          (30-35)
