    NATA is an aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s innate ability through a variety of testing formats and cannot be taught, learnt or induced. NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study.

    Key Details for NATA 2025:

    Registration: The online application process commenced on February 3, 2025.  

    Exam Schedule: Examinations are being conducted from March 1, 2025, and will continue on Fridays and Saturdays until June 2025.  

    Eligibility Criteria:

    1. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in one of the following:
    2. 10+1 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
    3. 10+2 examination with PCM.
    4. 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.
    5. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in the qualifying examination.  

    Application Process:

    1.Visit the official NATA website: nata.in.

    2.Complete the online registration by providing the necessary details.

    3.Upload required documents, including a recent photograph and signature.

    4.Pay the application fee online.

    5.Submit the application and retain a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.  

    Exam Pattern:

    Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test).

    Duration: 3 hours.

    Sections: The exam comprises two parts:

    Part A: Drawing and Composition Test (Offline).

    Part B: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering topics like visual reasoning, logical derivation, general knowledge in architecture and design, language interpretation, design sensitivity, design thinking, and numerical ability.  

    Syllabus: The syllabus includes topics related to drawing and composition, visual reasoning, logical reasoning, general knowledge in architecture and design, language skills, design sensitivity, design thinking, and numerical ability.
