CFDM rmly believes that in-depth understanding of trends, ingenious design aesthetics and unwavering zeal along with knowledge of the cultural, historical, sociological and economic components of the fashion dominion are vital to become a fashion designer of repute and renown.

CFDM strives to inculcate the above distinguished traits through its rigorous and comprehensive curriculum which is laced with cosmic outlook. Our unique curriculum has right blend of Industry-University interface that enriches students with rst-hand experience and academic excellence of international standard to give wings to their vision.

The collaborations of CFDM with Brands, Art & Craft NGOs, Buying and Export Houses and Renown Designers helps students with Industry simulated working atmosphere which are perfect foundation for design aspirants Our students have opportunities to travel to fashion destinations such as Milan, Paris, London, New York, and Mumbai. In addition, due to partnerships with the Fashion Institutes abroad, our students become fully globalized and capable of creating fusion fashion.

CFDM encourages students to employ advanced technologies to inject vigor and vitality into their body of work, but not at the altar of artistic nesse. It is our deep conviction that a fashion designer is primarily an artist with imagination and then a technocrat and a business person. One of the most signicant objectives of CFDM is to transform students’ air into forte and aptitude into expertise without tampering with their intrinsic talent. The CFDM curriculum ensures that our graduates have all the available options at their disposal-to fetch cushy jobs, become freelance designers, create their own line of fashion, or to embark on an entrepreneurial odyssey.

MRS VILLOO  M MIRZA :Former Director, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, Professional Academic association with  NID, Ahmedabad,and many prestigious design educational institutions across India.  Chief Designer Gujarat State Handicraft Association, UNESCO Parzo Projects,  Strategic consultant at SEWA ,women  empowerment projects through skill-building, livelihood programs.  DESIGN DEAL that focuses on designing and promoting Sustainable products.Mrs Mirza currently lives and works in Ahmedabad.

MR PRASAD BIDAPA: Pioneering fashion events in India for over 3 decades,  respected the world over for its excellence . The first to hold  MEN’S FASHION WEEK IN INDIA,  the first ever fashion industry awards i.eKingFisher  Fashion Awards , associated with The Karnataka Fashion Week Bangalore, Colombo Fashion Week,  The Mega Model Hunt, The Style Awards, Femina Miss India.  Works  with leading International brands such as Swarovski, Gitanjali, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis, Esprit, Van Heusen, Arvind Groups, Fastrack, Air Asia, Infinite Luxury & Samsung.

PROF ARCHANA SHASTRI: Former professor and HOD, Kaladarsana IGNCA  Delhi, Former prof and Chairperson Fashion Design & Communications, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi, Former Reader in Art Education, NCERT Delhi. Academic Associations with Fashion Institute of Technology New York, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Fashion Institute of Hamburg, Stockholm, Sweden, and Finland’s University of Industrial Arts. Prof Shastri currently lives and works at Delhi.

MR ARUN PALAWAT: Founder and  Managing Director/ Proprieter ZARI,  an established  Brand label  founded in 2005 ,Unique, distinctive style and original tradition appeal in  Bridal Wear. Prominent locations across Bangalore, Mumbai, Indore, Jodhpur and its flagship store in Jaipur. Finest technique’s of Indian Textile & Craft Tradition to create ensembles that transcend time and age.MrPalawat currently lives and works in Jaipur.

MS PUJA ARYA:  A renowned  Fashion Designer (PUJA ARYA label launched in 2000) with prestigious design & academic associations including Nottingham Trent University , UK, Charles Wallace India Trust British Council.  Known to experiment on Contemporization of  Traditional Indian Crafts Ms Arya regularly showcases  her brand label collections with Wills India Lifestyle India week and retails with Ogaan, New Delhi, Amethyst Chennai, Folio Bangalore, Marichika Hyderabad.Ms Arya currently lives and works at Jaipur.

MR ROHIT KAMRA:Brand Label ROHIT & ABHISHEK( A Wills Fashion Week regular). Well known for fusing  wearable ensembles with an Indian Inspiration in the Men’s Wear Category. Epitomizes the Indian Royalty, Aristocracy , apt for ceremonial wear, Jodhpuri collars, flamboyant Jodhpur Breeches, MrKamra’s collections accentuate a formal look, with jeweled buttons, brooches, belt buckles made of precious stones that highlights jaipur on the world  fashion map. MrRohitKamra Currently lives and works at Jaipur.

CFDM out Campus Exhibition Events
CFDM organizes out campus exhibition and fashion event’s and radio jockeysthat showcases and present Art & Design works by students and faculty culminating into a highly mesmerizing , thematic & creative events. During this time CFDM student’s dynamically engages with a wider /diverse audience including media/press/ interested parents/ aspiring design students/art & design community/ community members & eminent academicians/ reputed designers etc.During the event, CFDM also organized career counseling sessions and creative workshops for aspiring entrants.

CFDM Inter Collegiate Workshop Events
CFDM also organizes workshops outside campus to not only give the students the required exposure but to also enable them to interact with other college students who are learning related soft and hard material skills such as jewelry making, metal casting, sandstone carving etc.

CFDM Field Trips
CFDM organizes eld trips to places outside campus that help them gain wider perspective and knowledge pertaining to fashion culture, history, sociology and economy, sustainability through visits to reputed design houses, museums, organic farms, ports, factory’s and industrial houses.

CFDM Internship
CFDM students are sent for internships at leading brand houses, art & craft NGOs, buying rms, export houses, and designers where working hand-in-hand with seasoned artisans, pattern masters and designers, and observing them help students to imbibe the elementary hand-skills and get the feel of real working atmosphere.

CFDM Electives
CFDM students get additional exposure within the campus through interactive/ inter collegiate events and electives that help our students gain insight into specialized areas such as ‘Gender Justice and Law’, Bhagvad Gita, Computer Programming and Essential English and Foreign Languages.
